"I have alot of wall space and I want art to hang up..and yours would be amazing because I actually know you and I just love you art. I have always known you were artistic even back in the day..but WOW I wish I could do something like that. -Machel Emory
"I have always had the desire to paint. And then I met Christina, saw her work and was inspired to paint. What I love most about her is that she always shares the story behind her paintings and through that, I feel not only touched by her colorful expression but also by her emotion. It is my hope that someday, I can rank somewhere in the same class as Christina, someone who has mastered absolute brilliance in artistry." - Deirdre Newson
"From a very young age Christy has always been artistic. I was constantly buying her colored pencils paints and drawing paper. Sometimes that would be all she wanted. There are so many of those drawings and pictures I have tucked away that one day she will be amazed that I have kept. I thought that she would be a fashion designer because she was always drawing her own fashion design of cloths. When it came time for her senior prom she wanted something different from anyone else...that is just the way she is. We decided to make her dress. She told me she wanted to look like she was going to the Grammy's. She designed her own prom dress and I made it. Not an easy thing to do but with the two of us I must say she did actually look like she was going to the Grammy's. The dress was Shinny gold with a very low back and diamond like pendants on the front straps that match her gold diamond like shoes. She looked beautiful and she was very proud of her dress. But her talent did not stop there. When my grand-daughter Natalie came along and she realized that Fashion design school would be impossible at the time she expanded her talent to a much further level. She started expressing herself on canvas instead of fashion design paper and WOW. I would like to say that she gets her talent from me but would be a lie. I'm so proud of her work and I think that she has grown into a wonderful young woman and mother. Each peace of her art is a part of her. She paints from within and she doesn't let restrictions of rules keep her from expressing herself.......that is just her personality. She is my beautiful and talented daughter and I love her." - Tina Hagood
